Cordoba

The big draw in this city is the mosque that is now a cathedral but by the time we got here on Sunday  night it was closed, I did some reading and if you go at 8.30 in the morning it isn’t free ( better then €36), so up we got this morning and headed In.

About 50 of us but better then later in the day when masses more show up. It is an amazing building still mosque like but overlaid with catholic’s icons and saints.

Being Monday museums etc not generally  open but a tower museum was and the old town was still up and running so we spent the day mooching about.

We are staying another night to go to the palace and patios tomorrow .

30 plus deg so rather hot....
