Stayed at a sports centre and went and asked if we could use the showers. The only person there was a receptionist and he was happy to show us in and let us shower €1.50 each .
Long hot shower and a hair wash and dryers that you slid up and down the wall to suit your height.
We had lunch in a plaza but ate too much and didn’t bother with dinner.
The town is hilly but they have open air escalators going up the hills, and even some down ones. Good for push chairs and shopping trolleys .
Lots of building murals brightened up the big walls and lots of very old buildings.
Walked back to the van and then went to the centre to watch jai Alai played. They catch and throw a small ball with a big hook basket attached to their hand. The court was as long as a basketball court and they flung it against the fall wall and played like squash. Except catch and throw catch and throw.
