Dieppe
Next morning we drove into Dieppe and into a park in the port MH car park. quite busy but they have really wide spaces and we got one on the harbour side.
Dieppe is a pretty port town full of cafes and restaurants so nice to visit.
We went for a long walk in the drizzle along the beach ( stony) past the castle , along the main pedestrian shopping street and then saw a sign to a model show... we tracked it down and it was full of french Perries all with their models.
Had a lovely fish and chips in a cafe overlooking the beach then headed on a bus to the nearest mall as the town didnt have a phone shop.
Hugely complicated getting phone sims as needed two ids, address and bank iban codes.
After two hours and even trying the shop assistance debit card we had managed to get two sim, one for y phone and one to run wifi in the van. could not get a third one for Perry no matter what we tried.
Both are nor working and the van wifi is 5 G and really fast so blogging got a whole lot easier.
Had a tagine for dinner mine was peas, potatoes onion and tomato and P's was lamb.
Then sleep in the van and awoke to mist down to low levels and drizzle.
Went for a walk and the old post streets are all closed off for a car boot sale lots of stall selling tat....
The motohome leaving the camp had issues trying to get out and had to backtrack around the ferry terminal as all the bridges and streets closed.
