2023 we head off for another adventure

my E6 rose , a donaton to some cause

 April 2023 we fly via Dubai to Paris. 

Both were good flights with a nice stop for  shower and sleep in a Dubai airport ( they even gave us a free buffet breakfast). we had a free stay over as the flights were 9 hours apart.

I ordered Vege meals and by the end of the two flights I was a bit sick of rice and curry although they were all very nice and tasty.  my breakfast on one flight was bean curry and rice and P had toasted banana bread, so yes I ate half that.

Our apartment in Moussey Le Neuf is very nice so that is a bonus. We had arranged to meet the motor home storage owner at 10 on Saturday, nothing at 10, 11 by 12 we walked to the next town where he had an office but he wasn't there so I finally rang him. He was were the MH was and we were at the apt. we had never been to the storage facility and he was there, luckily it was only 200 mtrs away

It was a barn beside his home where 20 other vans were also stored. 

He surprised us by saying he had started it that morning and he had moved it!! we expected to have issues after it being in storage for two years.  Reggie was filthy covered in pigeon poo and dirt we gave him a quick brush down and cleaned the solar panels then drove him back to our accommodation.

We are lucky that there is an enormous car park so we have parked Reggie here.

Sunday was spent cleaning the inside : good news, no mould, no mice, no spiders. no smell.

Gave it a good wipe out and put all the bedding though the washing machine and dryer here,

Also good news was my electric bike battery recharged and is going well.

Meanwhile we have house sitters minding the house and Bea, all reports from them show her having a great time with visits to the seaside and getting to sleep in her own bed.
