Saint Jacques de la Lande 26 August

We had a slow start P spending a lot of time trying to get the Sat Nav  to Up date , he got a bit frustrated. 

Then off through the forest where Merlin was buried , the signs say don’t pick the mushrooms I wonder if they are magic. 

We got to a lake on the Vilaine and stopped for lunch . There were a couple of young guys fishing but nothing caught. 

The house has a new part on the side .very nice Renovation 

We then went for a bike ride round the lake which had a beach on its edge and saw two bright blue kingfishers.

Apparently there are otters here but we never saw any.

Finally thought we should move and are parked between an old folks home a sports complex and a corn field. 

we are on a park but from this angle we look like we arei n the field

There is a lovely walk through forest which we did before dinner .

We were having dinner when the harvester got to our field so I made P move the van so we didnt get covered in shredded greenery.  Its now 11-46 and he,s stopped. A long day for the harvester and the trailer drivers.

we were parked just by the edge of the field now we are the other side of the car park.
