We headed straight to the Utah beach and P spent 3 hour queuing and doing museum stuff. I sat under an umbrella on the sand and read my book and went for beach walks.

We then had to visit a field that was in Band of Brothers then found a spot to camp for the night. It is a small square with two other campers right on the sea wall. we headed out and had a swim the water was a bit seaweedy in shore but ok out further. Like all these beaches it is incredibly shallow for a long time but quite warm 19deg I read somewhere.
Then before dinner we went f a bike ride and found a group of motorhomes up a very sandy unsealed road really hard to bike on I'm glad we didnt try and take reggie there.
After dinner we watched the sea disappear out to low tide, the sun set in a blaze of bright orange
