Jumieges: July 20th

To start the day we went to an art supplies shop only 5 mins walk away and bought some watercolours so I can keep painting, it was artists heaven they had masses of art supplies of every type, the many types of paper took up one wall.

We then followed the Seine on its windy path through the valles until we stopped at Jumieges in a nice grassy field.
as you can see we only travelled about 50km today.

We explored the town and sat and chatted with some fellow brits for an hour or so, we were the first ones they had come across this trip.

This town is famous for its large abbey and the fruit they grow.

  Our camp site

p found a street named for him

We have a view of the abbey from our window and we are biking along the fruit trail tomorrow.

Other photos from today.
