We cycled to Mont st Michel this morning but the tide was still out so didnt take any more photos. 10km cycle ride later we filled the van with water and headed away. We are now in Bouzouges in a really nice spot with plants all around and only 3 of us here. We went for a walk about the town classes as a Petite ville de France which I guess means its a cute little village , and it is. We went to the information centre and a really helpful chap gave us guides for Brittany ( where are there now ) and a walking tour of the town. Well a bit of a gap, with the days getting shorter and a couple of grey ones we have less solar electricity to run the laptops. Sadly my battery only works if plugged in or in the middle of the day in full sun ( when we are out exploring... We had a busy day exploring Vannes, more timbered buildings and cobbled streets, a little train and nice pedestrianised areas. See P's blog for photos At St Nazaire P gave me a guided tour of the commando rid of 1942 where they rammed a boat into the lock to stop boats and submarines getting in. P's blog will have the full story and lots of photos so I won repeat it all here. this is a monument remembering slavery shipments clever roof designs they are on lots of different buildings that line up We had parked by the submarine pens on the docks with 13 other motorhomes and a couple of boats in front of us but at midnight we gave up, the boats had generators going and the motor hum never stopped. We drove around...

The grounds were rather nice as well. enjoying the sunshine never too old or a swing why a hedgehog on the front Then off to visit troglodytes at Troo...the area we drove though was based on a lot of limestone hills and the locals for years have been carving out houses and storage. poor St Roc always shown with his leg exposed they had glasses in the water that had calcified been awhile since these worked bought the t-shirt should confuse people who read it We stayed the night behind the mayors office it was lovely and quiet not a sound all night. Next day we headed to Vendome and had a walk about the streets. rather odd to have the man off the horse Then finally today we settled in Chateaudun in a camp where we talked to some brits who got sick of cancelling there holidays and decided to just come over. A bit cold ...
