Falaise 31 July

P out in the sun

After dinner at tonight’s camp then we played frisbee on that bit of grass, over the other side men were playing boule.

And my new sandles and shoes

It was too hot today it got to 33 deg, I had to keep looking for shade.  We visited war memorials and followed the line of the allied advance ending In Falaise where William the conquered was born. A really nice castle which we will go through tomorrow and a museum about french life in war time.

I bought new shoes at a  ridiculous cheap price and we played frisbee tonight after it cooled down.
