Bayeux: 29 July
I started the day with a long walk in the sunshine on the beach at Arromanche stopping for a coffee and a pain au raisin (yummy it was too). P went to the Gold beach landing museum and we met up after a couple of hours. It was sunny and the tide was out soa very pleasant at the sea side.
We then drove to Bayeux and are staying at the municipal campsite which is glorious, lots of trees really big sites and a new ablution block.. we chose to stay here to do our 11 days washing. nice to get all the sheets and duvet cover etc done as well as the tshirts and undies.
nice green campsite

the camp clothes line, I explained we wanted to do laundry so they gave us the site by the line, that is all ours.....
