Vikings 3 4 July
We headed off to the Viking camp and museum.
There were birds nesting the the thatch roof and the mum would dsh in feed one then dash out again. They looked like a toy all lined up in a row then mum appears and the beaks all open and the chirping goes crazy then she leaves and they all shut up again.
oth well worth a look at. It was a nice day so we added a 2 hour walk around a lake.
That night we stayed at a park behind the Pipe and Drum Hall ( written in English on the hall) shame they weren't open Perry could have played the bagpipes.
Payment and management for the site was the swimming pool next door so I paid, we parked Reggie then went back and P had a beer and chips by the pool. ( all the motorhomes seemed to be there having a beer or ice cream). Small site only 6 of us there , it could hold 15.
We went in to check the showers ( in the hall) and the changing room was for men and women and then attached were two large shower rooms with three shower heads each one for women one for men with a giant shower curtain. Very european...
Up the next day and We were undecided but first stop was a garage to get our backing camera and the LED lights checked as both were not working.
Luckily they were able to check the van over straight away and after two hours ( one of which was their lunch break) all was fixed. A new switch made the lights go and apparently the backing camera runs on radio not wired so it is just temperamental!
We then drove to tonight's site, had lunch wandered around the town had dinner and now the rain has set in so we may settle in for a day until it clears.
We hope to ferry over to the isle of Sylt when it does.
There is yet another swimming pool next door so might have a swim tomorrow.
