9th July Ringkobing Fjord

We left Ribe and headed to another tank museum this one with the added bonus of old fire engines. I stayed in the van for that one.
We stopped at a car boot sale and I bought a felt ear warmer head band which I am sure I will need up north.

Then we went to the Tirpitz bunker, this had queues to get in and is a museum under the sand dunes and in an old WW2 bunker. It was extremely well done with each person carrying an audio guide and the rooms were set up as masses of stuff and they had tags on that you touched your guide to and it would tell you all about it

one room was clearing land mines off the Danish coast. One was on Amber that washes up on the shore. One was on the shipwrecks. It was all well done.

We then headed off to drive along a narrow spit of land that goes around the Fjord,
We stopped at Sandervig and took photos of the endless beach and the german defences in the form of concrete bunkers.
