18 Falsled, 19 Nyby on the ilse of Tasinge, 20 July Odense

Finally enough with the bricks....

We headed off with a stop for lunch at a bird look out but really the sheep were more interesting.

A town called Middlefart was a bit empty.
We stopped at a couple of interesting towns/cities and had a wander and as dad has said not many people about.

We stopped at the towns marked as scenic and had a good look around.

another marina for the nights camp, lots of boats on the other side.

some nice shots for a calendar

Next day we stopped at Faaborg.

We parked at the harbour being careful not to park in the wrong place unlike this chap...
and visited a merchants house from the 18th Century, we didn't realise we had come in the exit until we left by the front door.
It was really interesting and  I have a collection of ladies hats please choose the one to suit you.

Link to photos  of the three days

very uneven floor after all those years

mmm not sure about this one..
We visited Svendborg a bigger port and there was jazz, shops and lots of people.

They even had decorated the street light poles.

We spent the night at Nyby on a small island where a very friendly young man told us his life story in excellent english and we set up camp in our own field.

Today the orchid flowered
We visited Valdemare Slot one of the kings many homes. No photos allowed in case we came back to steal anything.

We are now camping outside a caravan sales where the company has cleverly assigned camper parking only for 2 but there are 4 of us here.

We have just had the most incredible thunderstorm and are grateful not to be in a tent...
and to have everything we need in Reggie.
