Harwich to Delft

We woke up in the ferry terminal carpark after an easy nights sleep. There were 6 other motorhomes including one big enough to go to Africa. The motorhome blogs had said that is was acceptable to sleep in the ferry carpark and they had looks and a lounge there.  So we did.  hen we arrived a group of camper were sitting in chairs drinkings beers and having a great laugh. They were from sweden and denmark.

The ferry trip was easy, we watched a movie and just read and I even did some tapestry.

Off the ferry and an easy drive in Hook as it is a very small town so hardly any traffic.  We drove to Delft and checked into a camp recommended to us by one of the camper last night.

It is Delftset Hout. A really big camp with swimming pool and restaurant and set in acres of national park.

We walked into Delft through the park and had a wander about and dinner at a greek restaurant.

Domestic chores today  water in the van, dishes and clothes wash using the facilities and then once they are hung out we will bike off and spend the afternoon in Delft. The sun has finally come out and it looks like a good afternoon.
