Saville, Jerez, Cadiz

What an amazing 3 places , we stayed in Saville for two day as couldn’t do it justice in one.

: scenery

Gardens, with a monument to Christopher Columbus who sailed from here

Old royal palaces with amazing ceilings and tiles

Food, finding vege options not always easy but today was crumbled eggplant strips fired with a thick Spanish honey

And a Hungarian dish that was deep fried flat bread covered in grilled Vegas and topped with teriyaki sauce, an odd combo but tasted great.

Drink, best  Aperol I’ve had , it came with Saville sour orange and bubbly.

Worlds largest wooden building ,the lattice building in the photos that you walk on top of and they change is colour, great view.

Narrow cobbled streets

Cathedrals

Sherry, Tio Pepe in Jerez and other producers make it the centre for sherry

Walking so much walking , 10km,13.6km,7.67km,12.37km

You would think that plus 29 deg days we would be losing weight But wine or beer at lunchtime, chips, cakes, ice creams I think we are both gaining weight...... Maybe it is all fluids?
