Camaret sur mer, Roscanvek Sept 13
We drove along the coast stopping at a big german bunker that P went into while I walked down the road to the ruins of an abbey and a light house.

We then met for Bretagne apple cake and coffee at the local bistro.
We also visited an old french fort and now light house that was over two bridges with the sea underneath.
The night was meant to be in the municipal camp in Camaret but we arrived too late and the reception team had gone and we didn't have a pass to get in. The car car was huge so we settled in against the fence and went for a walk into town. It is another port town and the bars/ restaurants were full for people having the evening meal. The port had a line up of large old fishing ships which was odd, they were quite colourful and I'm sure are in lots of paintings and photos.

We then drove out on the Crozon peninsular and after the tom tom tried to send us along a bike track we made it to our stop which is a lovely rural camp with only one other MH a couple of small vans and two couples in tents. We have an entire plateau to our selves. We headed off for a walk and met others on a formal walking day in the area, men in bright yellow vests stopping cars ( only about 2 an hour ).
In town we explored the beach and old town and then settled on the harbour to watch the world and eat lunch. A lot of people started arriving with new foundland dogs, great big hairy things they are. it turned out to be a training day and the dogs swam out with life saving rings and were transported out into the harbour in a rubber boat told to jump in the had to swim back.
| rather well done and the sky was this blue today |
| looked like spiderman going for a row |
