We visited France's Book town expecting more than there was, maybe 7 shops selling books, but I think like Hay on Wye in England they have literary festivals here. I did buy 2 books but both english thrillers. It chucked it down with rain so we had to shelter in the church, they have been handy for sanctuary the last two days .

Old well still has a wooden winder

Then we bought a french gas bottle and fittings in anticipation of the Uk one running out.
Headed off to our stop in Tinteniac where P tried the Bottle and found it was too high to put the regulator on the top....... so I found another caravan place near here and off we went .
(We use microsoft translate for our conversation and it is very good, you can also take a photo of a set of instructions and it will translate the the whole page instantly.)
An old man pottered out and unscrewed a safety cover off the top of the gas bottle and the regulator fitted easily.. oh how we laughed, the man must think we a silly foreigners can't even work a gas bottle.
Back to camp and P installed an oven in place of the microwave, we heated quiche and apple pie, worked a treat.

Heaps of cats in the bible (hiding in the straw under the manger, licking the pillar of salt, playing with strangely posing ducks...)
