Veules - les-Roses and Doudeville: 18 July
We awoke to glorious sunshine and had breakfast outside. We then headed into Veules-les-Roses to go and visit the monument on the other side of the bay.
a little local colour, the hollyhock was growing up the cafe where we had our morning coffee

Out on the beach front there was a group of people in period costume but with face masks very odd, I think it was part of a wedding party.
We then drove through Saint-Valery-en Caux but couldn't find a van park. we went to the official one but the vans only had a couple of metres between them, it was a nice spot under the light house but I didnt like the crush.
We then drove through the countryside to Doudeville where we are in the village camping-car park, just 4 of us, so much nicer.
We had a drink in the village square sitting in deck chairs then did a big shop.
This is our neighbour for tonight a bit posh maybe.
