Saltau 11/9 and Bergen Belsen 12/9
We had the most wonderful spa in salt water pools, they had a choice of size temperature and salinity.
We swam outside in 35 deg water in the rain it was lovely.
Then into the bubble pools inside. We were there at 7.30 at night and the place was near empty, just couples cuddling about the place.The changing rooms were mixed sex, you went into a room locked the door on that side then on the other side of the room changed and left on the new side so walk through changing rooms. They did have seperate showers though. We stayed for about 3 hours trying out the sauna as well.
And today not so cheerful we went to Bergen Belsen concentration camp. The movies and images were horrific and I had to leave and go and walk in the grounds.
We are now in our camp for the night and the neighbours came running to see us as they saw the New Zealand sticker. They have a book that they had a book written by a cousin which is a photo essay of New Zealand.
P just took it back (they wanted us to look through it) and hasn't come back , their english is good and P hasn't had a conversation with anyone but me for ages so it will be hard for him to leave...
I have organised a camp in Lichfield for when we return to sort all our stuff out and then back to work. Need an apartment for 2 months but I have some possibilities.
