13/14 July down the other side to Mariager Fjord

We started the day with a wander to the beach behind Reggie , it was lovely and warm and the sand is so white and fine it is like powder.

 ready for the beach
We had thought about getting the ferry to Goteborg but the cost was really high unless you went at midnight so we decided to see more of Denmark and are now going down the East side having gone right to the top via the west side.

We stopped at Frederikshavn and yes there were bunker and they still had the guns in some of them. It was properly curated rather than just bunkers in the sand.
Perry might be a bit tall

they might be a bit big for the toy car
We then carried on down the scenic route crossing over one of the fjords on a ferry, was a surprise the satnav said turn left and get on ferry....We were lucky it was in port had room for us and was only £5.

We arrived at our site in yet another marina ( they are so well set up for visiting boaties that adding a flat space and more electricity for motorhomes is a no brainer)

This one has the lighthouse in the middle of the park right behind reggie. and the marina is in front so we have an uninterrupted view.

Today we went for a bike ride into the town and visited the salt shop ( yes they collect it from the fjord and dry it here)
they have piles of salt on the rubbish bins
The queue for the ice cream was longer than the one for salt.

the marina provide picnic tables and lots of families used them today
no idea what is says....
these sheds are holiday homes/ cabins

maybe a corgi
the foal needs to grow a longer mane to grow out its mohawk
