Harlingen, NL June 18
We left tiny Zurich, a place of about 6 houses and drove to Harlingen because I had read that is was a nice place.
We got a park at the port along with 10 other motorhomes, we are not actually in real park but snuck on the end of the row. But we did get electricity which was a bonus.
We headed into town and as usual walked about taking in the sights, stopping for lunch and watching the world rush past.
We then went and got our bikes and headed off for a longer explore.
We came across a street closed for a sporting event. It involved teams of three hitting a small ball with one hand really hard to try and land within a square at the other end and the other team slapping it back. it was like volleyball but with 3 people and a tennis ball.
It was quite exciting and we sat and watched for an hour or so. All ages played including some very old men who hit the square everytime and did sneaky curve ball serves.
Back to Reggie and I made a moroccan tagine for dinner finally eating at 8.30.
Tomorrow we head for Germany.
